Forthright – It means to be open, to be upfront, to be honest. It means to come forth right before others. No deceitfulness here, no hiding something.
People who are forthright are open and honest. Sometimes we appreciate them, sometimes we do not.
We appreciate them when their attitude is right in their forthrightness. We do not appreciate them if when in their forthrightness there is a wrong attitude.
It is a wonderful skill, a wonderful trait to be forthright. But when you are with people, love them. Care more about the person than the message, so that when you are forthright the message will really connect with the person.
