You Don’t Really Pay For Things With Money

February 9, 2009

You don’t really pay for things with money.

You pay for them with time.

“In five years, I’ll have put enough away
to buy that vacation house we want.

Then I’ll slow down.”

That means the house will cost you five years —
one-twelfth of your adult life.

Translate the dollar value of the house,
car, or anything else into time,
and then see if it’s still worth it. …

The phrase spending your time is not a metaphor.

It’s how life works.

To your success,

You are right you do pay for things with time some poeple get more for thier time than others thats why some people work all day and only get pennies on the dollar. then there are the poeple who do very little and earn millions because somebody who works long hours for penn y s does the work for them . but when you get the money you must be careful where you spend it or you will have worked for nothing and there is no way to get it back unless you have a system to make it back already that is why poor poeple stay poor no matter how much money you give them so when you get your money give up drinking or jack daniels and jim beam will take it from you then you time will be spent poor and drunk thats all

.the older you get the more precious your time becomes. I never spend my time on petty stuff. I invest my time complimenting, encouraging, loving, relationships, the things that count when the going gets tough.

That’s right. I agree with your opinion. It’s how life works. Because if we want to get more money, we have to work hard. Not only dreaming but do nothing.
