A frog was hopping about a farm when he decided to check out the barn area. All around the farmyard he jumped—having a good time and being somewhat careless. The frog, in his abandon, gave a giant hop, and because he was not paying attention to what he was doing landed in a pail half full of fresh milk.
Round and round the little frog swam, but the sides of the pail proved too tall and steep for him to escape. He dove to the bottom of the pail and tried to jump out—but the milk was too deep. Though the situation looked impossible the little frog refused to give up. He swam and kicked and squirmed and moved about in a fury, churning the milk round and round as he struggled.
Suddenly the frog noticed that the churning was turning the milk to a thick butter. The frog kept banging about the bucket until the milk became a solid slab of butter onto which he climbed and successfully jumped out of the pail.
