Lead By Example – They Don’t You Should

June 6, 2010

I frequently use —

Follow Our Instructions
Do As We Do
No Advice Works Unless You Do

True. Practical. Straight to the point.
This is the way I do business.

I truly, and sincerely, want to help you.

The point here, goal here, it so build, long term, ongoing daily traffic. The fact is, without it, you have no chance for success.

Lead by example is a good, worthy motto, a good idea, the best way to do Internet marketing.

During my early days online, I was surrounded by many good people. Many were so called leaders, some self-proclaimed, some hyped as such by others, and most failed because they failed to lead by example.

This is a topic I am very passionate about. It frustrates me to no end to see people in this Internet marketing arena, not do what they expect and ask others to do.

Let me ask you, what is it that you are asking others to do?

Let us look specifically at your Traffic Hoopla. Presuming you are here to build traffic, and you are doing so by following our instructions, our lead, and doing as we do.

Then, what are you expecting, asking others to do?

After joining Traffic Hoopla, you are asking them to join all the advertising resources, and then use them daily to promote their Traffic Hoopla. Right? Well, are you doing so?

In addition, you expect, you are asking people to upgrade and make purchases. Why? So you can benefit, referral rewards and commissions. Right? Well, are you doing so?

Today, take a look at your email box and how many big name marketers are promoting the next best thing. Now how many of them do you think are actually using what they are proclaiming as the next best thing? You would be surprised! Few to none, and this is shameful marketing, at its worst.

Back to my early days online, I achieved great success, referring thousands to top ranked advertising resources, and working with them, offering my sincere and honest help, with no strings attached. And, I made a habit of only promoting what I actually use myself, and doing exactly what I ask others to do.

This is what I say and do. If a resource is worthy for me to join, I join and use, and upgrade, and refer others. Follow my lead, do what I do, this is my example, this is the secret to my success.

We all hear this too often. I will only upgrade when enough of my referrals upgrade first, and I then can make a profit. Ok, makes financial sense. But it does NOT make referral marketing sense, where your success is achieved by referring others, helping others, leading by example.

There you go, my preaching for today. BIG SMILE.

I really am passionate about this business, traffic building, and helping others, no strings attached.

How can I best help you today?

I always look forward to your bits of wisdom and this is one area that I also believe you are right on the mark. Even in off-line sales, the first thing I have found you have to do is BUY the product. You won’t sell Chevy’s if you are driving a Ford. I am finding that online sales are no different. It does sound weird to people at first, but it is true. You may get some success, but to truly be successful you need to be an ‘owner’ and not a wanna-be.

People tend to get into the herd mentality especially when it is a ‘package’ type program. They will promote the whole package, yet not be a paying member of all of the programs (just an affiliate and may not even use them) and try to sell them. They usually don’t have a lot of success and figure that it was a ‘bad’ program. Where others who do use the program and are paying members have much better success.

I am guilty of this also and have been working hard to remove things from my program arsenal that I cannot say I actually use or would pay for. This actually makes things much easier as you can ‘honestly’ tell people why or why not you like the product.

Thank you for the straight talk and encouragement. It’s much appreciated and appropriate. I feel moved to act but not scolded.
