Caution - about FreeTrafficWorld.com
Update August 27, 2009:
Received a support response from Tom Childress today, using problems with Internet provider as an excuse for taking MORE THAN ONE WEEK to respond.
This time, instead of ignoring my commission payment request, he once again uses the tax law excuse for not paying.
With all due respect Mr. Childress, I was one of the first to get you the tax info, you acknowledge, and did in fact make a few payments thereafter.
Guess What? He used a NO REPLY when responding to my support request. Are you kidding me?
Yes, I sent another support request, to respond to him, thru their normal support system.
Unbelievable is the fact, people are still using FreeTrafficWorld.com. People, take caution, run the other way.
Update August 2009:
They owe me nearly 200, and have ignore more than a dozen request, including multiple support request made.
Update March 10, 2009:
Today, my Free Traffic World account is down graded to free status, although I’ve paid for an upgrade.
For whatever reasons, FTW system downgraded my account, although I’ve paid, and I’m waiting for support to resolve. This means most of my sites are on hold, and I’m not receiving downline credit as an upgraded member.
It’s now more than 24-hours, and still waiting on support to respond.
Update 3/3/2009 —
Commissions have been paid up to date. However, FTW remains under caution for all other issues. If no caution, FTW would have ranked #20 this week.
First, our report/testing/rankings do not take customer service into consideration. And rarely do we include notes of caution.
Caution – Free Traffic World: As of Feb 24, 2009, we have a sitting credit balance of more than 156000, and more than $200 of unpaid commissions.
We have had several communications with Tom Childress, customer to customer service, and it’s not good. On average, 2 to 3 days for a response, and each response has been less than friendly.
My first question was about commissions and payment schedule. I had already made several requests for commissions once my balance reached 100, and after 1 week, I was starting to get concerned, as this is not the norm with top exchanges.
His response was exactly 3-days later, after I contacted customer service again, and simply commissions are paid in the order received.
The next day, I received my first commission payment, by then my balance was nearly 400, and the payment was only for the original 100 requested. No big deal, other than this is not the norm with other top ranked exchanges.
I have since received several commission payments from FreeTrafficWorld, each following the same pattern.
Then today, after more than a week, and a few hundred in balance, he tells me no more payments until I fill out tax forms (which he doesn’t provide) and return by snail mail. Are you kidding me?
I fully understand the tax requirements, and that I’ve now been paid the minimum before reporting, but no, you don’t need a tax form, simply my info, which I’ve promptly sent.
The big story here, more than 156000 credits in balance, 2-3 day customer service response time, and red flags flying high regarding commission payments.
We will continue to monitor and report back to you here.
