Here in my world, Southlake Texas USA, football is in full swing.
Friday Night Lights, high school football is huge around here. The local team has played on national television, the stadium is sold out a year in advance, and fans tailgate hours before each game.
Yesterday, one of the biggest college football games ever was played in this area, a more than 100 year rivalry. Talk about fanatic fans.
Oh, and this is the Dallas Metroplex, a professional football team also plays here, with just a few fans. SMILE.
So what is the fan? Basically, a fan is an enthusiastic follower.
And as I sit here on an early Sunday morning …
Side note — by the way, early Sunday mornings are my favorite, my most productive time of the week. Seriously, the family is asleep, we typically attend church on Sat PM, and the boys have baseball games in a few hours. It’s quiet, I’m focused, and I can achieve more now than any other time.
… thinking about fans, and this Hoopla! business this morning, I realized, we have a lot of fans here too, just like the sports team.
